ANALYSIS USER GUIDE / SWITCH

Analyze
Switch records

Analysis organizes ended and saved Switch sessions by mode, category, start time, and duration for the selected period.

Look beyond total time to see which modes repeat at which hours and how their duration differs from the preceding period.

01

View total duration and sessions

Analysis on Mac showing Top Switch Modes and Switch Category Detail
Switch panels show session duration, common start times, and modes within each category.

The Switch value in State Overview adds the duration of all sessions recorded in the selected period. The session and completion counts shown with it help explain which records produced that duration.

Timer completion, manual ending, and a change to another Switch are distinguished by status badges in 30-day history.

02

View top Switch modes

Choose Switch under Top Activity to see the three modes with the greatest cumulative duration during the selected period.

Ranking is based on total duration, not session count or completion rate. One long session can rank above a mode used often for short sessions.

03

Read the day-and-time map

The Switch activity map divides Monday through Sunday and 00:00 through 24:00 into three-hour cells. Each session belongs to the cell where it started, and intensity reflects the session duration accumulated in that cell.

If a cell contains several categories, it uses the color of the category with the greatest cumulative duration. A session remains counted in its start-time cell even when it continues across several periods.

04

Review Category Detail and the previous period

In Category Detail, choose Switch and a category to see the share of session duration contributed by each mode within that category.

Each mode shows a common start period and its duration in the current range and immediately preceding range of the same length. Small changes can appear large when a period contains few records.
