ANALYSIS USER GUIDE / YOUR STATE

Read Your State
and its flow

Your State expresses the category flow for the selected period through color and motion. State Map explains the evidence for that flow with values and text.

In addition to seeing which category appears largest, review whether Switch, ki.log, or Pulse contributed to the result.

01

Explore the category visualization

Your State on Mac showing the Ripple visualization and Nebula, Ripple, and Aurora style controls
Nebula, Ripple, and Aurora express the same category flow with different motion.

A category appears larger when it has a greater share of the combined flow. When a category with the same name appears in Switch, ki.log, and Pulse, it is combined into one flow by name.

Choose Nebula, Ripple, or Aurora to change only the presentation. Changing the visualization style does not change source records or calculated results.

02

Understand equal weighting across data sources

Switch, ki.log, and Pulse sources that contain data first calculate category proportions within themselves, then combine with equal weight. A large number of records in one feature does not automatically give that entire feature more weight than the others.

03

Read State Overview

  • State Flow: Shows the largest category in the combined flow and its percentage.
  • Switch: Shows total session duration, recorded sessions, and completed sessions for the selected period.
  • ki.log: Shows the average achievement and total completed dates for all currently active, unarchived lists over the selected 7- or 30-day range.
  • Pulse: Shows scheduled occurrences not removed by exceptions and their scheduled duration for the selected period.

The ki.log percentage is a simple average of the achievement rate for every list currently included in the calculation. State Overview can show at most four summary cards, but titles, scheduled counts, and totals are not limited to those four cards. The percentage may also differ from total completed dates divided by total scheduled dates.

The Pulse value is not a count of completed activities. It represents recurring scheduled occurrences retained after exceptions.

04

Review Flow Sources and Next Signals

Flow Sources separately shows the leading category for Switch duration, ki.log checks, and Pulse scheduled time. If the combined result is unexpected, compare these three lines first.

Next Signals summarizes the largest flow, longest-used Switch, ki.log list with lower achievement, and Pulse weekday with the most scheduled time. These are observations calculated from current records, not automatic goals or AI judgments.

05

Use Switch Window as context

Switch Window groups Switch start times in the selected period by hour, then shows the hour with the greatest cumulative session duration and the longest-running mode within it.

It is not a recommendation based on focus or performance. Consider your actual schedule and condition alongside it.
