GETTING STARTED / DEVICES

Supported devices
and features

OneCentrate is an app for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Core data can continue across supported Apple devices, but available features differ according to each screen and the role of its operating system.

01

Use OneCentrate on Apple devices

  • Mac: Create and manage Switch modes, ki.log lists, and Pulse rhythms, and review your flow in Analysis. Switch can open apps and websites, keep the display awake, and provide quick controls in the menu bar.
  • iPhone and iPad: Create and manage Switch modes, ki.log lists, and Pulse rhythms, and review your flow in Analysis. Supported widgets and Live Activities provide quick status views. Dynamic Island is available only on supported iPhone models.
  • Apple Watch: Start a Switch and use Pause, Resume, or End; record in ki.log; and view the current and next Pulse rhythms.

For details about each screen, its controls, widgets, and Live Activities, see Use OneCentrate on each Apple device.

For current operating system requirements, check the App Store system requirements when you install the app.

02

Understand what Apple Watch can do

Apple Watch works with the companion iPhone app to provide quick views and recording. You can use Switch, ki.log, and Pulse, but you cannot create modes, lists, or rhythms or edit their detailed settings on Apple Watch.

Analysis is not available on Apple Watch. Review detailed record flows in Analysis on Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

03

Continue your data across devices

When you use the same iCloud account and OneCentrate sync is enabled, supported devices can share data such as Switch modes, ki.log lists and records, Pulse rhythms, categories, and your photos.

Changes can take time to arrive depending on the network, iCloud sign-in, and system status. Do not expect every screen to update instantly through real-time synchronization.

A running Switch is also not a shared session that multiple devices control simultaneously. Handoff lets the destination take ownership only when both devices run a currently supported app version and confirm the same Switch session and execution settings. If the conditions do not match, the destination does not take over and the run continues on the original device.

For sync status, device permissions, and the current scope of manual backup, see Understand iCloud and data storage.

04

Check permissions and access requirements

  • Notifications: Pulse and ki.log alerts require permission for OneCentrate notifications on each device.
  • Live Activity: Live Activities must be allowed for OneCentrate in system settings.
  • Music: Apple Music may require system media permission and an eligible Apple Music subscription.
  • AI: OneCentrate AI is available with a Trial or OneCentrate+ while connected to the internet.
  • Widgets and Dynamic Island: These appear only on devices and operating systems that support them.

05

Current availability limits

The website provides product information and user guides, but it is not a OneCentrate web app. OneCentrate is not currently available for Android or Windows.

Automatic start based on Siri, Wi-Fi, or location is not currently offered as a user feature.

A Switch connected to Pulse is not guaranteed to start when the app is fully closed, and you cannot run multiple Switch sessions at the same time.
