If you are using multiple
devices for the first time

Choose your primary device
First choose the Mac, iPhone, or iPad where you will create cards and refine detailed settings.

Add quick-access surfaces
Add the widgets you need on iPhone and iPad, and the app and complications you need on Apple Watch.

Review devices and permissions
Check the same iCloud account, device registration, and system permissions such as notifications and Live Activities.

Test the flow once
Confirm that a card changed on one device appears on another and that the controls you need work.
