Distinguish device data from iCloud data
Switch modes, ki.log lists, Pulse rhythms, app settings, Switch run history, ki.log records, Pulse status and exceptions, and photos you choose can be stored on your device. When iCloud sync is on, supported modes, lists, rhythms, and records can sync between devices through the private CloudKit database for the same iCloud account.
Storage on your device and iCloud sync do not mean the same thing. Turning off sync on this device stops new changes from being reflected, but that action alone does not delete all data from the device and iCloud.

Review external services used by selected features
- iCloud and CloudKit: May be used to sync supported data between devices.
- MusicKit and Apple Music: Used for permission and playback when you choose an Apple Music source.
- App Store: Used for OneCentrate+ products, payments, and active-access verification.
- OneCentrate’s AI service: Used to generate a response when you request an AI answer or draft.
Related features may be limited by service outages, account status, or policy changes. The privacy practices of each provider may also apply.
03
Check what an AI request may include
When you use OneCentrate AI, the text you enter, recent conversation in the current AI window, card titles saved in the current feature, and settings needed to create a draft may be sent to the operating service. Identifying and verification information needed to confirm the device platform and access status may also be used during the request.
Do not enter sensitive information that is not needed for the draft, such as passwords, financial or health information, or someone else’s personal information. AI results are not applied automatically. You review each result and choose whether to apply it.
For more information, see Understand AI access and privacy.
04
Review the controls available to you
- Manage notifications and Apple Music permissions in system settings on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Choose photos yourself with Apple’s photo picker.
- In My Apple Devices in OneCentrate, turn iCloud sync on or off for the current device.
- Use the archive, deletion, and record-editing options available in each feature’s management screen.
- Review and apply or cancel AI drafts, and manage subscriptions in your Apple account.
Turning off a permission or canceling a subscription is different from deleting stored data. Check what an action changes before you continue.
