ANALYSIS USER GUIDE / DATA AND SAMPLE PREVIEW

Understand sample preview
and data

If you have not chosen how to begin or selected Explore with Samples, Analysis may show SAMPLE PREVIEW and an example flow.

Sample values demonstrate the feature. They are not an evaluation of your personal records.

01

Identify SAMPLE PREVIEW

Your State on Mac showing SAMPLE PREVIEW and the Ripple visualization for Weekly, This Week
When SAMPLE PREVIEW appears, the values can be examples provided for exploring the screen.

Sample preview is used by default before you complete the initial choice. Example Switch, ki.log, and Pulse flows also appear when you choose Explore with Samples.

Example values can be generated relative to the current date, so some dates and values can change over time. If you have saved active Pulse rhythms, the Pulse portion may use your current Pulse configuration even while SAMPLE is shown.

02

View Analysis with your records

When you choose Start Fresh or continue with existing data, Analysis uses actual records stored and synchronized on the device.

Switch uses ended and saved sessions, and ki.log uses active lists and records. Pulse panels can appear not only for currently active, unarchived rhythms but also when preserved history from a deleted rhythm was valid during the selected period.

03

If data does not appear

  • Check whether a record or schedule falls within the selected period.
  • If a Switch has started but not ended, check again after its ending record is saved.
  • Confirm that the ki.log list is active, a record was due under its recurrence, and the daily target was actually reached.
  • Confirm that the Pulse rhythm is active, unarchived, and has a time rule.
  • If you changed it on another device, wait for OneCentrate to complete the latest sync, then reopen Analysis.

Before recreating a card that is missing, see If a card or record is missing.

04

Remember the meaning of each value

Switch time is session history, ki.log achievement is completed dates relative to scheduled dates, and Pulse retention is occurrences not removed by rest relative to scheduled occurrences. Similar-looking values do not share a unit.

Past scheduled dates for ki.log are recalculated from the current recurrence. Current Pulse rhythms are also recalculated from current rules and exceptions, while a deleted rhythm uses the schedule and exception information preserved at deletion for the period before deletion. Editing a recurrence or schedule can therefore change some Analysis results for the same past period.

Analysis is a supporting view for finding patterns in records. Consider the source records and actual circumstances when making an important decision.
