CUSTOMIZE USER GUIDE / PHOTOS AND ARTWORK

Set photos, artwork,
and colors

Give each Switch, ki.log, or Pulse card a photo, OneCentrate artwork, or color so different flows are easy to distinguish.

Card backgrounds, Pulse weekday backgrounds, and the app's HOME background are separate settings. First identify which screen you want to change.

01

Choose a background for each card

The Switch Theme screen on Mac with photo and artwork choices and a card preview
Use the card preview while choosing a photo, OneCentrate artwork, or a color.
  1. Create a card or open the editor for an existing Switch, ki.log, or Pulse card.
  2. Open Theme or the background settings.
  3. Choose a photo, included artwork, or a color.
  4. Review the framing and card preview, then save the card settings.

On Mac, you can use My Files and My Photos. On iPhone and iPad, choose from the photo library, included artwork, or colors.

When selecting a personal photo or file, use an image that does not reveal another person's private information, and make sure the original can be downloaded on that device.

02

Use backgrounds differently in Switch, ki.log, and Pulse

  • Switch: Set the atmosphere for both the card and the screen shown while the Switch runs.
  • ki.log: Distinguish different actions quickly in the records list.
  • Pulse: Distinguish activities within the weekly flow using rhythm-card backgrounds.

Editing another card or replacing a background does not crop or modify the original photo file. OneCentrate stores the selected background and its display framing.

03

Distinguish Pulse weekday backgrounds

Weekday background settings for Monday through Sunday in Pulse on Mac
Pulse weekday backgrounds change the appearance of each day in the weekly view, not an individual rhythm card.

In addition to individual rhythm-card backgrounds, Pulse lets you choose a background for each day from Monday through Sunday in the weekly view. Even when one day contains several Pulse rhythms, they share one weekday background.

See Set weekday backgrounds and descriptions to choose a description, color, and photo for each day.

04

Distinguish the HOME background from card backgrounds

The HOME background under Settings > DISPLAY / BACKGROUND is the large background behind MAIN. It does not change the photo on a particular Switch, ki.log, or Pulse card.

On Mac, choose a HOME background from a file or photo. On iPhone and iPad, choose one from the photo library. Restore the default to use the included OneCentrate HOME background again.

See Set appearance and the HOME background to change them together.
