01
Distinguish the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

On a device that allows Live Activities, a progress card appears on the Lock Screen. On an iPhone with Dynamic Island, the compact view shows the essential time and artwork. Touch and hold it to expand and see more detail.
On devices without Dynamic Island, use the Lock Screen Live Activity. These are not separate records; they display the same Live Activity in layouts sized for each surface.
02
Enable a Switch Live Activity
- In the Switch editor, include iPhone among the run devices.
- In iPhone details, enable Live Activity and save the Switch.
- Start the Switch directly in OneCentrate on that iPhone.
- On the Lock Screen, review the mode name, current stage, timer, and progress.
A Switch Live Activity is an iPhone setting. Even if the option is saved on a Switch started from another device, do not assume the same Live Activity automatically appears on iPhone.
When you use Pause or Resume, or the Switch stage changes, the Live Activity updates to the current state. Choosing End also ends its Live Activity.
03
Use a Pulse Live Activity

A Pulse Live Activity is available when the rhythm is active and unarchived, the current iPhone or iPad is selected for its alerts, and the system allows Live Activities. The Lock Screen can show the rhythm name, category, artwork, progress or time until the end, and a local note you entered. Do not put sensitive information in device names, rhythm names, or notes if it should not be visible on the Lock Screen.
In supported environments, OneCentrate can attempt to start a Pulse Live Activity at the scheduled time. Network and Apple system conditions can delay the start or prevent it from appearing, so do not use it as an alarm that guarantees an exact time.
If you dismiss the current Pulse Live Activity from the Lock Screen or another system surface, it does not reappear during the same occurrence. A later Pulse occurrence can start a new Activity when its conditions are met.
See View Pulse in widgets, Live Activities, and on Apple Watch to use these surfaces together.
04
If a Live Activity does not appear
- In system settings, confirm that Live Activities are allowed for OneCentrate.
- For Switch, review the iPhone run device and per-mode Live Activity option. For Pulse, review active and archive state and the selected device.
- Open OneCentrate and confirm that the latest cards and schedules have synchronized.
- For a scheduled Pulse start, also review network and notification or push requirements.
The system ultimately manages when a Live Activity appears, refreshes, and is removed. If the app and Lock Screen differ briefly, reopen the app to confirm the latest state. If an ended activity remains, wait for the system to remove it or remove it yourself.
