01
Choose a recurrence

Under Frequency/Target in the ki.log list settings, choose one of these recurrence options:
- Daily: The card appears in TODAY every day.
- Every Few Days: The card appears every 2–365 days from the anchor date.
- Weekdays: Choose one or more days from Monday through Sunday.
- Monthly: Choose one or more dates from the 1st through the 31st of each month.
When you choose Every Few Days, review both the interval and the anchor date. The next record date changes when the anchor date changes, even if the interval stays the same.
02
Handle dates at the end of the month
If a selected monthly date does not exist in a particular month, the card is due on the last day of that month.
For example, if you select the 31st, it is treated as April 30 in April and as the last day of February for that year. If you want one record on the final day of every month, selecting only the 31st is the clearest option.
03
Set a daily target count

You can set a daily target from 1 to 99.
- Once: Use the list as a single completion that you can check or undo.
- 2–99 times: Add one count each time you complete the action. The card is complete when it reaches the target.
The daily target is the number of completions you record, not a unit of measurement. If you need a unit such as time, distance, or volume, include it in the title or description.
04
Check the list for today
If today is included in the recurrence, the list appears in TODAY. Otherwise, it appears in NEXT. When you reach today’s target, the list moves to DONE on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
You can also select a NEXT list card to record it early today.
