KI.LOG USER GUIDE / CHECK AND COUNT

Check and
record counts

You can check a ki.log list once a day or record it several times until you reach a target.

01

Check a list once a day

On the ki.log screen, selecting a list card with a daily target of 1 adds today’s record and moves the list to DONE on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Select the completed list card again on the same screen to undo today’s record.

Undoing removes that record for today, but keeps the list itself and records from earlier dates.

02

Add several records to a list

Record a single completion or track progress toward a daily target count.

For a list with a daily target of 2 or more, the current and target counts appear in current/target format.

  1. Select the list card or use + 1 to add another completion.
  2. If you added one by mistake, use - 1 to reduce the count.
  3. When the card reaches its target, it moves to DONE on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

The count cannot go below 0 or above the target you set. After reaching the target, you can undo one completion at a time on supported screens.

03

Understand that the daily target is a count

The daily-target number does not directly represent a volume of water, an amount of time, or a number of pages. It represents the number of completions you want to record that day.

For example, if you set a target of 6 for drinking water, 2/6 does not have a fixed meaning such as two glasses or 2 liters. It means that you recorded the action you defined twice today. If you need a specific unit, include it in the title or description.

04

Record quickly from MAIN and the Mac menu bar

MAIN on iPhone and iPad

MAIN can recommend up to three ki.log list cards that are not yet complete. Lists due today appear first, and NEXT lists can appear if space remains.

From MAIN, you can check a card or increase its count. To undo a completed card or reduce a count, open ki.log.

Mac menu bar

The Mac menu bar shows up to three ki.log lists due today. Choose More to see the rest. You can increase a record from this menu, but you cannot undo a completion or reduce a count.

If no Switch or Pulse is in progress, select the menu bar icon. If a flow is in progress, secondary-click or Control-click the icon to open the ki.log menu.

05

Review records

On Mac, secondary-click a list card; on iPhone or iPad, touch and hold it. Then choose Records. On all three devices, you can edit records from the last 7 days at the top of the same screen and review the complete history below.
