Understand the ki.log screen

Hero and categories
The Hero at the top shows an incomplete list card that is due today, regardless of the category you selected. Changing the category changes the list below, not the Hero.
You can organize lists in built-in categories such as HEALTH, LIFE, PET·GARDENING, and CLEAN, or place them in categories you create.
TODAY, DONE, and NEXT
- TODAY: The list is due today and its target is not yet complete.
- DONE: The list has reached today’s target count. Mac, iPhone, and iPad display DONE.
- NEXT: Today is not included in the list’s recurrence.
Completed lists move to DONE, so you can see what you finished without leaving the screen. You can also select a NEXT list card to record it early today.
Information shown on a card
A card shows its title, category, and description or settings summary. If the daily target is more than one, the current and target counts appear together, such as 2/6.
02
Choose what a list includes
You can set the following for a ki.log list:
- A title, short description, and category
- A photo, artwork, or color card background
- A recurrence and daily target count
- An advance reminder, reminder, and additional notifications
- The devices that receive notifications
- One Switch for automatic recording
You only need to set the options you use. A list works as a basic checklist even without notifications or a Switch link.
03
Know when a record is created
Checking a list card or adjusting its count changes today’s record. A record can also be added when a linked Switch finishes automatically or successfully transitions to another Switch, as long as today’s target has not already been reached.
Archiving a list hides it from the list, notifications, widgets, and Watch, and you can restore it from Archive. Deleting a list keeps its past check and Analysis records, but you cannot restore the deleted list itself. There is currently no option for general users to delete both a list and its past records.
