KI.LOG USER GUIDE / WIDGETS AND WATCH

Use ki.log in widgets
and on Apple Watch

Review and record today’s ki.log lists quickly, even when you are outside the app.

01

Use the Home Screen widget

A one-time check card and a count card in the ki.log widget on iPhone
See today’s ki.log cards and progress counts in the widget.

The ki.log widget shows today’s completed total and lists to record, according to the widget size. Among active, unarchived lists, lists due today that are not yet complete appear first.

The widget receives the status of up to 8 lists. The number that appears at one time depends on the widget size. A small widget provides a summary and a link to ki.log. Medium and larger widgets let you use recording controls for the lists they display.

  • A list with a daily target of 1 checks today’s record.
  • A list with a higher target adds one completion.

If a completed count list can still be selected, the action reduces the count by 1 instead of clearing the entire record. After widget data refreshes, completed lists can leave the primary list of incomplete lists.

Selecting a list card in the widget brings OneCentrate to the foreground and applies the pending action to the actual record. A queued indication alone does not mean the action succeeded, so confirm that the count or DONE state changes after the app opens.

02

Record on Apple Watch

Review synchronized ki.log cards and progress counts on Apple Watch.

The ki.log list on Watch shows the title, category, and progress count of TODAY lists due today and DONE lists that reached today’s target. NEXT lists are not included. Up to 8 appear by priority. Select a list to add one completion, or undo one after reaching the target.

The maximum of 8 limits what appears on screen and is separate from the number of Watch notification reservations. If a change from Watch has not yet reached iPhone, a pending-sync state can appear. When the connection returns, Watch sends the pending action and receives the latest state from iPhone. A pending indication alone does not mean recording is complete, so verify the actual count.

03

Use ki.log complications

ki.log supports circular, rectangular, and inline complications. Select a complication to open the ki.log screen in the Watch app.

The completed/total numbers and rectangular list rows use the same TODAY population as the Watch list. They include TODAY lists due today and DONE lists completed today, and neither count nor show NEXT lists.

04

Use notifications on Watch

When you select Watch under Devices in the list settings, OneCentrate also sends the information needed for Watch notifications. Watch notifications are not enabled for a list unless Watch is registered under MY APPLE DEVICES and selected on that list. The maximum of 8 in the Watch list does not limit notification settings.
