GETTING STARTED / OVERVIEW

Four features,
one flow

OneCentrate is a Digital OneCentrator that helps you concentrate on the one thing you need now, instead of adding more tasks to a list.

Use Pulse, Switch, ki.log, and Analysis to connect recurring time, the state you need now, the moments when you act, and the patterns you find along the way.

01

Choose the right way to begin

If you are new to OneCentrate and have no existing data, you can choose Explore with Samples or Start Fresh the first time you open the app.

  • Explore with Samples: See how each screen works with prepared Switch, ki.log, Pulse, and Analysis data.
  • Start Fresh: Create your own cards and rhythms without sample cards or records.
  • Continue with My Data: If OneCentrate finds existing data in the same iCloud account, you may be offered the option to continue with it.

02

Understand the four distinct features

Pulse rhythms by day and card groups in OneCentrate on Mac
Use Pulse to set the daily and weekly rhythms you want to repeat.
Switch cards and recent modes in OneCentrate on Mac
Use Switch to choose and begin the state you need now.
Today's ki.log cards and recording states in OneCentrate on Mac
Use ki.log to check off an action or record how many times you did it.
The Analysis Your State screen in OneCentrate on Mac
Use Analysis to review the patterns created by your records and schedules.
  • Pulse: Set activities and breaks that repeat every day or on selected days, together with their times, alerts, and exceptions.
  • Switch: Choose the one thing you are doing now, and prepare its timer, sound, and environment so you can change your current state.
  • ki.log: Check off an action once or record how many times you completed it during the day.
  • Analysis: Observe patterns across Switch session records, ki.log records, and the schedules you designed in Pulse.

Each feature has a different role, so you do not need to use all four at once. Start with the feature you need today and add another when it naturally becomes useful.

Plan, start, record, and review

The Analysis State Map showing detailed Switch, ki.log, and Pulse flows in OneCentrate on Mac
Analysis presents schedules and records from the three features as separate sources in one view.

For example, you can set a weekday morning focus period in Pulse, then start a Switch when you actually begin working. Record completed actions in ki.log. As records build, Analysis lets you review planned time, actual sessions, and repeated records together.

Use what you observe to adjust the next day's Switch duration, a ki.log list, or a recurring Pulse time. This is a cycle you can move through as needed, not a fixed sequence.

04

Understand information that may look similar

Pulse represents a recurring schedule, Switch represents an actual session, and ki.log represents the checks and counts you record. Analysis keeps these sources distinct instead of turning them into a single score.

You can connect Pulse with Switch, and Switch with ki.log, but those connections do not run automatically in every situation. They depend on the connection settings and the state of the device running OneCentrate. Set them up after you are familiar with each feature.
