01
Set start and end alerts

In Notification Settings in the rhythm editor, you can configure alerts at four points:
- Before Start: Alerts you 0–60 minutes before the start time. Choose 0 minutes to turn it off.
- At Start: Alerts you at the rhythm’s start time.
- Before End: Alerts you 0–60 minutes before the end time. Choose 0 minutes to turn it off.
- At End: Alerts you at the rhythm’s end time.
You do not need to turn on all four alerts. For example, add a Before Start alert when you need time to prepare, or a Before End or At End alert when the transition matters.
These alert settings apply to every day and time rule in this rhythm.
02
Choose notification devices

In Notification Devices, choose the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices that should receive alerts for this rhythm. At least one notification device must remain selected. OneCentrate does not schedule this rhythm’s Pulse alerts on unselected devices.
Device selection tells OneCentrate where to send alerts. To receive them, each device also needs the latest Pulse data, and notifications must be allowed for OneCentrate in system settings.
03
Check alert status on each device
Selecting a device does not guarantee that the same alert always appears on every device at exactly the same moment. Scheduling and delivery can vary with the device’s power and connection state, system notification settings, and synchronization timing.
Within the number of requests allowed by the system, OneCentrate prepares Pulse alerts for the nearest upcoming schedules first. Reopening the app or changing the rhythm’s schedule, exceptions, notification devices, or permissions can reorganize the prepared alerts. Do not assume that every recurrence far into the future is fixed in a single scheduling pass.
After changing these settings, open OneCentrate on every device you plan to use and check that notifications are allowed and the latest rhythm appears. Apple Watch alerts also require Apple Watch to be selected as a notification device and the relevant synchronization to finish.
If an alert does not arrive, see If ki.log or Pulse notifications don’t arrive to check system permissions, exceptions, and schedule updates.
