01
Check music and AI separately

If you cannot hear music or Switch stops only when music is used, follow the music checks. If the AI button is locked or no response arrives, follow the AI checks.
Do not change both features at once. Compare the affected feature and one condition at a time.
02
Check requirements for each music source
- OneCentrate curated music: Make sure the genre is available under the current plan and that the required music pack has downloaded.
- Apple Music: Check music permission, access to playable Apple Music content, and the selected playlist.
- Local folder: On the current device, make sure the folder and files are still in place and accessible to OneCentrate. OneCentrate uses mp3, m4a, aiff, aif, wav, flac, or aac files directly inside the selected folder and does not automatically search every subfolder.
- Ambience and sound effects: Check the card settings, OneCentrate’s sound permission, and the device’s volume, Silent Mode, and audio output.
Even when the same card appears on another device, Apple Music permission, downloads, and local file paths can differ by device.
03
Compare with music turned off
- Note the current card’s music source and selection.
- On the same Switch, change only music to None and start it manually.
- If it runs normally, return to the original source and check the download, permission and subscription, or file access.
- If it still stops with music off, check app and URL, timer, and run-device requirements.
If the app repeatedly closes or stops, do not delete the card. Record the device, app version, music source, and comparison result. For detailed Switch checks, see If Switch does not run as expected.
04
Check AI access requirements and retry

- Trial or OneCentrate+: AI questions and drafts are available.
- Free: AI is locked. Check your access plan.
- Network: An internet connection and a response from OneCentrate’s AI service are required.
- Usage, server, or connection error: Read the message, wait briefly, then select the retry button (↻) to the right of the input field.
You do not enter a separate AI key. Instead of sending the same request repeatedly in a short period, check the connection and plan, wait briefly, then try once more.
05
Handle failed drafts and personal information safely
AI answers and drafts are not saved to a card automatically before you review and apply them. After retrying a failed request, check the days, times, counts, notifications, and devices yourself.
In a support screen or conversation capture, hide passwords, financial or health information, someone else’s personal information, and sensitive card names. For AI requirements and information that may be sent, see Understand AI access and privacy.
