01
Check for a Switch that is already running

- In MAIN on Mac, iPhone, or iPad—or on the Switch screen—check whether another Switch is already in progress.
- If a Switch is in progress, return to that session and continue. Before ending it yourself, note that a manual end does not add an automatic record to a connected ki.log.
- Make sure the card you want to run is not archived and is active under your current access plan.
- If it uses a deadline timer, make sure the deadline has not already passed.
- Select the same card again and try starting it manually.
OneCentrate runs one Switch at a time. Even if the same card appears on another device, do not assume every device can always control the current session together as one shared session.
02
Check device, app, and URL requirements
- Run devices: Make sure the current Mac, iPhone, or iPad is included in the card’s run devices.
- Mac apps: Make sure each app in the list is installed on the current Mac and opens when selected directly.
- Webpages: Open each saved address directly in a browser and check whether it requires a sign-in or network connection.
- iPhone and iPad links: Make sure the linked app is installed and supports the URL or deep link.
OneCentrate asks the selected apps and addresses to open, but it cannot resolve another app’s installation, sign-in, or link support. For setup details, see Open apps and webpages with Switch.
03
Distinguish automatic-start requirements
Use a scheduled automatic start when OneCentrate is running and can process the start request. Do not treat it like a system alarm that always sounds after the operating system closes the app or while the device is asleep.
For a Switch linked to Pulse, also check the rhythm’s time and run devices, current exceptions, and app state. On iPhone and iPad, some scheduled starts require OneCentrate to be running in the foreground at the scheduled time.
Time-based and Pulse automatic starts on iPhone and iPad start the Switch session, but they do not always open every external app and URL on the card automatically. To prevent unsaved work from being lost, OneCentrate does not close apps or webpages it opened on Mac when the Switch ends.
Before relying on it for an important schedule, start it manually once. For more information, see Use automatic start and ki.log integration.
04
Compare once with music turned off
- Note the current music source for the affected Switch.
- Capture or note the current music settings, then change only music to None.
- Leave ambience and sound effects unchanged, then start the Switch again.
- If the issue continues, turn off ambience and sound effects one at a time and compare again.
If the Switch runs only when music is off, check the curated music download, Apple Music permission and subscription, or local folder access. See If music or AI does not work for checks by source.
05
Check how the session ended and the resulting ki.log record
Record results can differ depending on whether the timer completes, the session transitions normally to another Switch, or you manually end a session in progress. If a manually ended session is not recorded automatically in the connected ki.log, it does not mean the card data was lost.
After a Switch ends through timer completion or a manual end, check the recent mode on MAIN, the Switch run record in Analysis, and today’s status in the connected ki.log separately. For automatic recording requirements, see Connect to ki.log.
06
Record the details and contact support if it repeats
If the issue repeats with the same card, record the following before deleting the app or resetting data:
- The affected device, operating system, and OneCentrate version
- The steps from selecting the card until the issue appears
- Whether it was started manually or automatically, and whether another Switch was running
- The music source and the result when music was turned off
- Any message shown and a screen with personal information hidden
See Contact support for more information about what you can send safely.
